Anna Sui, a designer as you may know,  hopes that by having as many people as possible wear the t-shirt at left, everyone will realize that  they  should do what they can to dedicate at least certain buildings to the garment industry by ensuring that manufacturers can afford their rent. She has created the idea for the T-shirt that has e-mail addresses of important New York City officials on the back, to raise awareness of the shrinking manufacturing and production facilities in the Garment Center.

Yes, it seems quite conspicuous that since Gossip Girl began teens have been pulled towards preppy clothes, bright headbands, and colorful tights. Some may wonder how one show on television could impact the viewers sense of style. It is a given that retailers such as Forever21, H&M, and various stores have lured in teens by their Gossip Girl inspired tights, clothes, and headbands.
